I'm surprised by the kitchen supplies! Very interesting :) A few things I thought of....I may have just missed them: Belts/Accessories, Fingernail clippers, nail file, Vaseline. Are bedding and bath towels supplied?
Just a few thoughts on your packing list...
-I brought some double-sided poster tape and I love it (not sure what brand it is but its got a green/white diamond print on it).
-If you're pressed for space, I would leave out the UGGs - the brown will stand out a lot here and you'll probably want to buy some black leather furry boots when you get here to wear to school in the winter.
-I wouldn't bother with bringing your own envelopes because the post office here has special envelopes for airmail to the US... I guess you can bring your own and just pay for the postage but I think most people just buy the ones at the post office.
-I would purchase the power strip here if you need one.
-My keychain flashlight has saved my life during the winter when it gets dark at like 4pm and so 6pm feels like midnight.
-I would skip the money belt/passport holder, I think you'll be ok without it unless you flash your wallet on the Kyiv metro or something - then you'll be targeted by pickpocketers.
Holy cow! I stumbled onto this while looking up your address, though now that I think about it I probably have it in my phone. Anyway, I had missed this. Still haven't read it all but just skimming through it I'm amazed you were able to move all of this by yourself!
