On a small sidenote, I went to the ATM tonight around 7 pm. It looked like it was about to rain and I had forgotten my umbrella. I wanted the fresh air though so I kept going and figured if it started pouring I could always take a marshrutka home. Got my money and stopped at the Cilpo grocery store on the way home (it's the one furthest away from my apartment but right in the middle of town). On my way I ran into one of the girls who went on the camping trip with me. We walked together towards the store and were speaking English, when a group of 4 people in front of us turned around and asked where I was from...in English. I told them that I was a PCV and lived here...asked where they were from. One guy was from Connecticut and the other was from Sweden. The other two people were Ukrainians, but oddly enough, I had met one of them while in ODESSA of all places. She worked at the hostel and knew that we were PCVs...and asked what cities we were stationed in. When I told her Kirovograd, she told me she was from there but lived in Odessa now. How funny! Upon saying goodbye to that group of people, I saw another person who works at the center where I work. When I finally got to the grocery store and said goodbye to the youth who went on the camping trip with me, I couldn't believe how many people I had seen in a matter of minutes when I have lived in this city for a little over a month. Apparently, k-grad is not that big of a city even though it has 300,000 people living in it :)

Camping at Южный Буг, a summary
I know that my camping trip blogs have been spread out all over the place, and I cannot for the life of me figure out if there's a way to change what order the blogs appear in. I haven't been able to find it if there is. So, if you want to read the blogs in the order that they actually occurred, you can click on each of the links below. If you actually hold down the control button (I think) and then click on a link, it will open a new window. Or you can just hit the browsers back button.
