I've been in bed all day. I've got a temp right now and am not feeling too hot. The ski trip was a blast and I can't wait to post about it, but I simply don't have much energy right now. About half of the group on the trip got sick after we were all headed home. Total bummer after a great weekend of shooping down the mountain.
Being sick in Ukraine is pretty much the only time I wish I were home in the states. I want Chicken and Stars Campbell's soup like you have no idea.
maybe my parents can stick in a few cans of soup when they come to Ukraine?
To prove to you how sick I am, let me do a little story-telling. I got the sweetest package in the mail from the Louy family in Norman (with a fun gift from Tino too). I went and picked it up at the post office yesterday after waiting for 2 hours at my apartment to try to feel good enough to go out. By the time I had the package and was back home, I felt too bad to open it then. I didn't end up opening it until today...and now I'm too tired to post a picture of the wonderful goodies that were inside. More about that soon hopefully, but thank you David, Missy, Sarah, and Tino :) it made my Valentine's day as nice as it could be considering the circumstances!
Maybe I'll watch a movie today in honor of Valentine's Day. Hollywood certainly has lots to pick from...and in case you need a few options, here's a pretty cute clip of some :)
my personal faves:
The Holiday
Hitch
Love Actually
Moulin Rouge
Titanic
You've Got Mail
Brokeback Mountain
HP (duh)
Twilight (again, duh)
Forrest Gump
My Girl
