almost done at the hospital...

howdy all :)

Thanks for the sweet words and text messages.  Never having stayed overnight in a hospital before, I see now how boring they can be.  So, thank you thank you for keeping me entertained! :)

Just got off the phone with one of my PC docs who was talking with a Ukrainian doctor in my room.  Looks like I'll be leaving the hospital tomorrow sometime and will go back to the PC office to see what the next few days look like.  Obviously will still be taking antibiotics once I'm gone from the hospital.   This hospital has been incredibly nice and helpful...and for that I'm thankful! But, also glad to be leaving tomorrow :)   I can tell my energy is returning too because I'm tired of being in bed all day.  However, if I have to be in bed all day, a hospital bed that sits up and reclines is definitely the way to do it!

I need to shower before I leave the hospital tomorrow.  My hair is quite a site...and the PC office normally has a shower, but it's broken at the moment.  Wah wah.  Gotta ask the nurse though if I can shower with a needle thing in my arm (no clue what the right name for it is...need one of my nurse friends to help me out there!).  Or maybe she'll finally take it out.

So, that's an update on all I know.  Again, thanks for the thoughtful emails, facebook messages, and texts.  Much appreciated!
